Daphne du Maurier classic editions competition – the winners!
Posted by Stephen Dumughn in Competitions
Thanks to everyone for taking part in this competition, we had well over 600 entrants in the end. The five winners, chosen at random, were:
Alison Maloney
Nicola Sheehy
Alison Turner
Yvonne Crossland
David Walker
Your books are on their way! And the answer to the question we asked:
Which of these three classics (Rebecca, Jamaica Inn and Frenchman's Creek) was NOT made into a Hitchcock film?
Was of course: Frenchman's Creek
(It was made into a 1944 film however, directed by Mitchell Liesen and starring Joan Fontaine).
Thanks again to everyone who entered, and look out for more competitions soon.
