The Return of Captain John Emmett, and Richard & Judy too

Virago is delighted to announce that The Return of Captain John Emmett by Elizabeth Speller has been selected for the Richard & Judy Summer Book Club 2011, sponsored by WHSmith.
This is Elizabeth's debut novel which Virago published last year. The Independent said it was 'the new Birdsong – only better'. We have also just published Elizabeth's fantastic second novel, The Strange Fate of Kitty Easton.
Elizabeth herself was delighted:
