Virago Book Club welcomes Stella Duffy on 13th September
Posted by Rebecca Macklin in Book News, Virago Book Club
Following on from the success of our Virago Book Club event with Natasha Walter, we're delighted to welcome Virago author Stella Duffy to host another evening of enthralling conversation, wine and cake on September 13th, held once again at our offices in Blackfriars.

We'll be discussing our Book Club selection, Stella's latest novel Theodora, over a glass of wine or two – and Stella will be speaking about how the book came about and the writing process that brought us the story of Theodora of Constantinople, and how she rose from nothing to become the most powerful woman in the history of Byzantine Rome.
If you live in London or can make the trip easily and would like to attend, then make sure you sign up to join the Virago Book Club and then send us an email confirming you can make it. We will be starting the discussion at 6:30pm. And in the meantime, you can watch this video of Stella introducing Theodora to whet your appetite!
